“How much will digital marketing cost?” is usually the first question a clinic owner, builder or institute asks, and the answers they get from agencies in Hyderabad can range from a few thousand rupees to several lakh a month. This guide explains what you are actually paying for, what published 2026 market ranges say, which factors move a quote up or down, and how to compare two quotes fairly. We do not publish our own package prices here; every range below comes from public sources that we name, so you can check them yourself.
1. The short answer
There is no single price for SEO or digital marketing in Hyderabad. Published 2026 guides from Hyderabad and Indian agencies put monthly SEO retainers anywhere from roughly ₹8,000 for very limited local work to ₹2,50,000 or more for large, competitive programmes. Full multi-channel digital marketing retainers in India are commonly quoted from around ₹15,000–₹25,000 a month at the small-business end to several lakh a month for national brands. Ad spend on Google or Meta is a separate cost on top of the agency fee.
Those ranges are wide because the work inside them is very different. The useful question is not “what is the price?” but “what exactly is included at this price, and how will we know it is working?”
2. What you are actually paying for
Most digital marketing bills have three separate parts. Mixing them up is the most common reason quotes look impossible to compare.
- Agency or consultant fee: the monthly retainer (or project fee) for strategy, setup, content, campaign management and reporting.
- Media spend: money paid directly to Google, Meta or other platforms for ads. This goes to the platform, not the agency, and you should see it on your own ad account invoices.
- One-time and third-party costs: a new website or landing pages, photography or video shoots, paid tools, call-tracking numbers, WhatsApp Business API charges or a CRM subscription.
Agency fees in India usually attract GST, so check whether a quote is inclusive or exclusive of tax before you compare totals.
3. Published SEO cost ranges in Hyderabad (2026)
Most agencies do not publish prices, but several Hyderabad-focused 2026 guides do. They are rate cards and estimates written by agencies, not an independent market survey, so treat them as a sanity check:
- upGrowth (“SEO Services Cost in Hyderabad 2026 Pricing Guide”, published 15 September 2026) describes four tiers: Starter at ₹8,000–₹20,000 a month, Growth at ₹20,000–₹60,000, Advanced at ₹60,000–₹1,00,000 and Enterprise at ₹1,00,000–₹2,50,000+.
- UVXYZ (“SEO Services Cost in Hyderabad (2026)”, October 2026) gives rough monthly ranges of ₹15,000–₹30,000 for local SEO for clinics and single-location businesses, ₹30,000–₹75,000 for a full SEO retainer, and ₹1 lakh+ for multi-city or e-commerce SEO. It lists a one-time technical audit and fixes at ₹25,000–₹1.5 lakh as a project.
- Yash Host (“How Much Does SEO Cost in Hyderabad? 2026 Pricing Guide”) puts most Hyderabad SEO between ₹15,000 and ₹1,50,000 a month, with small local businesses at about ₹15,000–₹30,000.
Read side by side, these guides agree on one point: the price rises with the number of keywords and pages worked on, whether content is actually written, whether technical problems are fixed (not just listed in a report), and how competitive the market is. For a single clinic targeting its own locality, the lower bands are common. For a multi-branch hospital or a brand competing city-wide for terms like “digital marketing agency in Hyderabad”, expect the upper bands.
4. Full digital marketing retainers
A “full” digital marketing retainer usually combines some mix of SEO, Google Ads or Meta Ads management, social media, content and reporting. Published 2026 guides for India again vary widely:
- 6S Marketers (“Digital Marketing Agencies in India (2026)”) lists local and small-business programmes at roughly ₹15,000–₹60,000 a month and growth or mid-market programmes at ₹60,000–₹1,50,000.
- Digital Upgrowth (“Digital Marketing Agency Pricing Guide 2026”) gives a typical range of ₹25,000–₹2,50,000 a month, depending on services and goals.
- Mediaverse Digital, one of the few Indian agencies that publishes a full rate card, lists starting points such as local SEO and Google Business Profile from ₹15,000 a month, Google or Meta ads management from ₹25,000 a month and social media management from ₹30,000 a month, with GST extra.
Some agencies charge for paid media as a percentage of ad spend instead of, or in addition to, a fixed fee. AdServex (“Digital Marketing Agency Pricing in India: 2026 Guide”) describes 8–15% of media spend as the usual Indian range for that model. A percentage model can work, but ask how the fee changes if the budget rises without results improving.
5. Ad spend: you control the budget
Ad budgets are not set by the agency. Google states that there is no minimum ad spend for Google Ads: you choose an average daily budget and can change or pause it at any time. On a busy day Google may spend up to twice the daily budget, but for most campaigns the monthly charge will not exceed about 30.4 times the average daily budget. Meta similarly lets you set daily or lifetime budgets for each campaign.
What a click or a lead costs depends on your field, location, competition and how well your ads and landing pages match the search. Healthcare, real estate and education keywords in Hyderabad can be competitive, so a very small budget may buy too few clicks to learn anything. A good agency will help you set a test budget you are comfortable with and tell you honestly if it is too small to judge. Our comparison of Google Ads vs Meta Ads for clinic leads explains where to start, and Google Ads management covers how campaigns are set up and tracked.
6. What changes the cost of a quote
- Competition and keywords: ranking a dental clinic for its own locality is a smaller job than ranking a brand for a city-wide service term.
- Website size and health: a small, clean site needs far less technical work than a large site with slow pages, duplicate content or broken links.
- Content volume and who writes it: the number of pages, blog posts and videos per month, and whether a subject expert or doctor reviews them.
- Number of locations: each branch usually needs its own Google Business Profile work, location page and review process.
- Channels: SEO only, ads only, or SEO plus Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media and WhatsApp follow-up.
- Tracking and reporting: call, WhatsApp and form tracking, a lead sheet or CRM, and how often you get reports and review meetings.
- Seniority: who actually does the work, a senior strategist or a junior team following a checklist.
7. Extra cost factors for clinics and hospitals
Healthcare marketing takes more care, and that affects time and cost. Clinical content should be reviewed by your doctors. Ads need to follow Google and Meta healthcare policies, and copy must avoid guaranteed outcomes, unsupported success claims and patient stories without written consent. Multi-branch hospitals need consistent profiles for every location and department. None of this should be skipped to make a quote cheaper. Our healthcare SEO guide explains what this work involves.
8. Red flags in cheap and expensive quotes
- A guaranteed first-page or “#1” ranking. Google’s own guidance on hiring an SEO says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.
- Hundreds of backlinks a month, or “special relationships” with Google.
- No written list of monthly deliverables, or reports you cannot verify.
- The agency owning your ad accounts, Google Business Profile, Search Console or website login.
- Long lock-in contracts before any results or reporting have been seen.
- A high fee that is justified only by “premium” positioning, with no clear extra work.
9. How to compare two quotes
Put each quote on one page and ask the same questions:
- What exactly is delivered each month: how many pages, posts, campaigns, fixes and reports?
- Which keywords, locations and services will you work on first, and why?
- Is ad spend included or separate? Is GST included?
- Who will do the work, and who reviews healthcare or technical content?
- How will calls, WhatsApp chats and forms be tracked, and will we have access to the data?
- What is the notice period, and who owns the accounts and content if we stop?

10. Setting a sensible first budget
Start from your goal, not a package. Decide what one new patient, buyer or admission is worth to you, how many enquiries your team can handle, and how long you can wait for results. SEO and Google Business Profile work build over months; ads can bring enquiries sooner but stop when spending stops. Many businesses begin with a focused scope, such as local SEO plus one search campaign with proper tracking, and expand once the data shows what works. Measure cost per genuine enquiry and per booked appointment or sale, not just clicks or rankings.
If you would like a scope and estimate for your own business, contact us with your goals and current setup. We will suggest a plan that fits your budget and explain what each part costs before any work begins.
Is low-cost digital marketing worth it?
Affordable digital marketing in Hyderabad can work if the budget goes into one channel done well, not five done badly. A low-cost package that promises SEO, ads, social media and a new website for a very small fee usually means each part gets very little time. If your budget is small, pick one goal and one channel, track enquiries, and expand once it works. Our guide to affordable digital marketing for small clinics shows where to spend first, and you can compare digital marketing companies in Hyderabad using the questions above.
Frequently asked questions
It can be, if the budget is focused on one channel with clear tracking. Very cheap packages that cover every channel at once usually spread the work too thin to produce genuine enquiries.
Published 2026 guides from Hyderabad agencies put monthly SEO retainers from roughly ₹8,000–₹15,000 for limited local work to ₹1,00,000–₹2,50,000 or more for large, competitive programmes. Scope, competition and content volume move the price most.
Usually not. Google and Meta ad budgets are normally paid directly to the platforms, and the agency fee covers strategy, setup, management and reporting. Always confirm this in writing.
Google states there is no minimum ad spend. You set an average daily budget and can change it at any time, though a very small budget may not produce enough data to judge a campaign.
Quotes cover very different work: the number of keywords and pages, whether content is written, whether technical issues are fixed, the number of locations and who does the work. Compare deliverables, not just the monthly fee.
No. We scope each engagement around your goals, locations and channels, then share a written estimate that separates our fee from ad spend and third-party costs.
